This video explains how to use the integrated Jamboard in Google Meet.

  • The Meet creator AND participants (who are on laptops) can start a Jamboard in Google Meet.
  • Jamboards can't be created on an iPad but participants on iPads can contribute to a shared Jamboard in a Meet.
  • If a participant (or student) creates a Jamboard in a Breakout Room, the Jamboard is not automatically shared with the original Meet creator (or teacher) because they're not actually IN the breakout room. The participant will need to remember to share the Jamboard with the Meet creator separately.
  • If a participant joins the Meet later, they will need to be added to the Jamboard.
