This video shows faculty and staff how to use Breakout Rooms in Google Meet.

  • Only the Meet creator can start breakout rooms. 
  • Breakout Rooms are now available for participants on laptops and iPads. (updated 9/28)

 **The day after this video was recorded, there was an update to Google Meet. The breakout rooms feature is now housed in the "Extras" menu (puzzle piece) and not the "More Options" menu (three dots).
