Follow these steps if you are having video performance issues within Google Chrome with services like Google Meet or Zoom.


  1. Run Google Chrome
  2. Click on the 3 vertical dots in the upper right hand corner of the browser window.
  3. Select 'Settings'

  4. Scroll down to the bottom of the settings window and select 'Advanced'
  5. Scroll down to the bottom once again and find 'System'
  6. Turn off 'Use hardware acceleration when available'
  7. Select relaunch and test your video sessions again.
