Notes:
- If another faculty/staff member chooses to record the Meet, both the "Host" (the person who started the meeting) and the person who clicked "Record" will have access to the video even though the video is saved in the host's Google Drive.
- Students are not able to record meetings.
- If "Chat" is used during the meeting, the host will also receive a "Chat Transcript".
- Click the three dots in the bottom-right corner and choose Record Meeting.
- You'll know the meeting is being recorded by the REC notification in the top-left corner.
- You can stop the recording by clicking on the 3 dots and choosing Stop recording.
- If you forget to stop the recording, the recording will end when everyone leaves the meeting.
- A few minutes after the recording has ended, you will receive an email notification saying the recording has been saved in your Google Drive. You can find recordings in your Google Drive in a folder called Meet Recordings. It will take some time for the video to process before the video can be viewed in Google Drive. (Usually around 10-20 minutes).
- You can then share the Google Drive link for others to view the recording.
